What does the price include?
Our pricing typically includes the fully built cabin, insulation, interior linings, flooring, windows and doors, electrical fit-off, and standard fixtures and fittings. We’ll confirm exactly what’s included in your quote before you proceed.
What additional costs might there be?
Additional costs can include transport, crane hire (if required). Site preparation, foundations, council consent fees, and utility connections such as power or plumbing (to be organised by customer if required).
Can I customise the design?
Yes — we can customise colours, cladding, flooring, layouts, windows, doors, and interior finishes to suit your style and needs.
Are My Pods fully insulated?
Yes, our pods are fully insulated in the walls and ceiling to help keep them comfortable year-round.
Do I need council consent?
This depends on the size of the pod, location, and intended use. Some cabins may not require consent, while others may. We recommend checking with your local council.
Who organises council consents?
The customer is usually responsible for council consents, but we can help guide you through the process and provide plans/specifications if required.
What fixtures and fittings are included?
Standard inclusions can include lighting, power points, switches, flooring, windows, doors, and interior linings. Additional upgrades and custom options are available.
What foundations are required?
Most pods require a level foundation such as timber piles, concrete pads, or a concrete slab depending on the site and pod size.
Who organises transport of My Pod?
We can organise transport for you or work with your preferred transport company.
Do you deliver nationwide?
We can arrange delivery throughout Northland, subject to site access and transport availability. Delivery outside of Northland will need to be organised by the customer.
Can I rent My Pod?
This option is not currently available, however it may be something we explore in the future.
Can I pay in instalments?
We do not currently offer instalment payment options, however this may be something we consider in the future.
